Problem

Worship teams ran on fragmented communication: assignments buried in WhatsApp threads, song keys texted the night before, the worship head holding the entire service plan alone while everyone else reacted Sunday morning. The logistics were getting in the way of the calling.

Insight

The problem wasn't organization. It was trust: when someone doesn't know what they're leading, what key it's in, or how it transitions, they walk onto the platform anxious instead of prepared.

Solution

Latreia enforces its pastor/head/member hierarchy for real, with server-side RLS instead of hidden buttons, live song search, and a chord library with automatic key transposition. When real usage surfaced an iOS bug silently killing backgrounded realtime connections, the fix shipped as resume-triggered reconnection.

Result

In production right now, not a demo. A full role-based system, live chord library, integrated song search, and a custom identity built around the name's own meaning (Greek λατρεία: devoted, reverent service), built in two days and running in the hands of a real worship team every week.
